Here is a Few GREAT things I Loved about the night .. watching the survivors do the victory lap .. I wanted to scream and shout for them .. everyone stood around and clapped and cheered for them..
A young girl decided to cut off her hair and donate it for a wig to be made... as she was cutting a local team went by and gave her high fives and told her how awesome that ways ...
Watching the teams come together and support each other was so touching , there was one team who came together for there friend who lost numerous family members to cancer, they hugged him and supported him and was there for him.
Lighting of the lights was so touching to see others some perfect strangers come together support each other and lean on each other.. I sat back and watched the lights slowly getting lit ... some were lighting for grandparents , a mother or father , a child .. Uncle, Aunts and Friends.. I could not help but feel the tears come to surface as I sat and thought about a light being lit at that time for my Grandpa who fought Leukemia for almost 20 years .. I was deeply touched!
Thanks again for everyone and all the hard work that went into it .. Here is the photos I snapped through out the night ! Remember if you were apart of this I wanted to Thank you ..to check out more of my work and photos from this night go to https://www.facebook.com/McClungPhotography.. Thanks!
